Privacy Policy
Effective September 23, 2026
Who we are
InBrowserKit (https://inbrowserkit.app) is a browser-based toolkit. The site operator is InBrowserKit. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@inbrowserkit.app.
Files and tool inputs
Tools on this site process files, images, documents, and text in your browser on your device. We do not upload your tool inputs to our servers for processing. What you convert, edit, or generate stays local unless a tool explicitly tells you otherwise (for example, a third-party API a tool page discloses before you use it).
Information we collect
We and our service providers may collect:
- Usage data — pages viewed, referrers, browser type, approximate location derived from IP, and similar analytics events.
- Device data — general device and OS information from your browser.
- Cookies and similar tech — see Cookies below.
We do not require an account and do not intentionally collect names, emails, or payment details through this site.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and comparable storage for:
- Preferences — for example, light/dark theme.
- Analytics — Google Analytics to understand traffic and improve the site.
- Product analytics Microsoft Clarity for aggregated usage insights (session replay-style signals, heatmaps).
- Advertising — if Google AdSense is enabled on this site, advertising cookies (including Google’s DoubleClick DART cookie and similar identifiers) may be set to serve, measure, and personalize ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google’s Ads Settings and other industry opt-outs. Ads are not currently served; this section describes practices if advertising is turned on for AdSense approval or later use.
You can control cookies in your browser (block or delete them). Blocking some cookies may affect site features.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics. Google may process data on our behalf under its terms. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or Google’s ads personalization controls where applicable.
Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to improve the product through usage metrics and session insights. Microsoft processes this data under its own policies. See Microsoft’s privacy documentation for details on Clarity data handling.
Consent and your choices
Analytics and advertising cookies are blocked until you agree to them. Before any tracking script loads, the site sets every consent signal to “denied”, so nothing is recorded in the meantime. When the consent manager below shows you a choice, your answer is applied to Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Google AdSense together, and you can change it at any time.
The consent manager is Google Funding Choices, provided by Google and certified against the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF). It is the only consent interface on this site — we do not run a second or competing banner. If you decline, analytics still sends cookieless page counts so we can see whether pages work, but no identifiers are stored and no profile is built, and advertising is limited or unavailable.
Our tools process your files and any text you paste into them inside your own browser. That processing never reaches this site’s servers, so the consent described here applies to page analytics and advertising only — not to your documents.
Google AdSense and advertising
This site may display advertising through Google AdSense. When ads are enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on prior visits and to measure performance. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other sites. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services and manage ad personalization in Google’s ads settings and the Network Advertising Initiative / Your Online Choices resources.
How we use information
- Operate, secure, and improve the site
- Understand aggregate usage and performance
- Remember preferences
- Serve and measure ads if advertising is enabled

Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data with service providers that help run the site (for example Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, hosting, and ad partners if ads are on), when required by law, or as part of a business transfer.
Retention
Analytics and advertising data are retained by the respective providers according to their settings and policies. We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above.
Your choices and rights
- Use browser controls to manage cookies
- Opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s add-on

Children

Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
