PDF Page Remover
Remove unwanted pages from your PDF.
PDF Page Remover deletes pages you do not want — by clicking thumbnails or by typing ranges like 1,3,5-7. Removed pages get a red Removed badge so you can review the keep set before you export. The tool builds a new document that copies only the pages you left selected; your original file is never edited.
Use it to strip blank back-sides from a scan, drop filler pages from a packet, or remove a cover you no longer need. Processing is entirely in-browser with pdf-lib.
How it works
On upload the tool reads the page count and renders a grid. Clicking a page toggles remove/restore (the trash icon becomes a restore control with an aria label like Restore page 2). The range field plus Select button marks many pages at once using the same parser as PDF Split.
When you confirm, the implementation creates a new PDFDocument, copies every page whose index is not in the remove set, and saves blob output as Reduced_PDF. Invalid range text produces a helpful toast instead of silently emptying the file.
How to use
- Open Remove Pages and drop or click to add a PDF.
- Review thumbnails; click any page to mark it Removed (badge appears).
- Or type ranges in the header field (e.g. 1,3,5-7) and click Select to mark many pages.
- Use Restore on a page if you marked it by mistake.
- Check the button label — Remove N Page(s) & Download shows how many are selected.
- Click the remove button (disabled at zero selections) and wait for Removing….
- On Pages Removed!, download the updated PDF (default Reduced_PDF).
- Start Over or Change File if you need another pass.
Tips
- You are choosing what to delete; anything not marked Removed is kept in order.
- Range syntax matches the split tool — commas and hyphen ranges, invalid parts ignored.
- Removing is non-destructive until download; the source file on disk never changes.
- To keep only a few pages, mark everything else — or split by ranges in PDF Split instead.

Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Removal runs in the browser with pdf-lib; files are not sent to a server.
What range formats work?
Comma-separated pages and ranges such as 1,3 or 5-8. If nothing valid is in the string, you get an error toast.
Why is the remove button disabled?
No pages are selected. Click thumbnails or use the range + Select control first.
Can I remove pages from a locked PDF?
Encrypted or corrupt files fail to load. Unlock with PDF Lock / Unlock, then remove pages.
Does this change my original file?
No. You download a new Reduced_PDF; the original is only read.
