PDF Signer

Draw, type, or upload a signature and stamp it onto a PDF.

PDF Signer stamps a hand-drawn signature onto a chosen page. Draw on the pad (color and thickness adjustable, fullscreen for more room), drag the overlay on the preview to place it, scale it with the Stamp Settings slider, then Sign Document to embed the PNG and download signed_{original}.pdf.

This is a visual signature stamp for approvals and mock workflows — not certificate-based cryptography. Position and size are applied only to the page you are viewing when you sign. Everything runs locally with react-signature-canvas and pdf-lib.

How it works

After load, PDF.js shows the current page. Drawing exports a PNG data URL into settings; the preview overlays it with mix-blend-multiply and clamps the center inside the page bounds.

On Sign Document the tool reloads source bytes, embedPng the signature, converts the normalized top-left position into pdf-lib’s bottom-left coordinate system (accounting for scale), and drawImage on that page. Result downloads as signed_{filename}.

How to use

  1. Open Sign PDF and drop or click your document.
  2. Navigate to the target page with the chevrons (“Page X of Y”).
  3. Set pen Color and Thickness (1–10) under Draw Signature.
  4. Draw inside the pad (or Fullscreen → draw → Save Signature); Clear to redo.
  5. Drag the signature on the page preview to the correct spot (stays inside the page).
  6. Adjust Scale under Stamp Settings (10%–200%, default 50%).
  7. Click Sign Document and wait for Signing….
  8. Download signed_{name}.pdf; repeat per page if needed.

Tips

  • Default position is page center — drag before signing for margin signatures.
  • Blend mode multiply makes the white pad background look transparent over content.
  • Sign one page per run; re-sign after download for additional pages.
  • Clear the pad when switching signers or styles so old strokes do not linger.
